Geography – Myddle CE Primary and Nursery School
The Geography curriculum at Stockham Primary School ensures that we provide our children with excitement, creativity and critical thinking about the world that will help them to develop a greater understanding of, knowledge of and curiosity about the world, as well as their place in it. We raise awareness of global issues and encourage children to ask, ‘What can I do to help?’ Through the Curriculum, teaching will equip pupils with a deep understanding of the Earth’s key physical and human processes. As pupils progress through the school, their growing knowledge about the world should help them to deepen their understanding of the interaction between these physical and human processes. We also inspire a fascination for  people, places and natural and human environments. Geographical knowledge, understanding and skills provide the frameworks and approaches that explain how the Earth’s features at different scales are shaped, interconnected and change over time.
